iMIS 10.6.30.17 (PayFlow Pro) Upgrade

Workstation Errors

1. If you are applying the .17 patch to a computer and see this error: Error 1304. Error writing to file Payflow_dotNET.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory.
   • It has nothing to do with permissions. It means that you don't have the .NET Framework 2.0 installed on that computer. That is a requirement for the .17 patch. All previous versions of 10.6.30.xx only require the 1.1 Framework.
2. The message Installsheild 1628: Failed to complete installation, running the iMIS install file for 10.6.30.17.
   • Happens if you try to apply a patch when iMIS hasn't even been installed on the workstation and encountered when upgrading to .17 on workstations with .15 installed. The remedy was to completely un-install iMIS through control panel >> add/remove programs, then install .07 and immediately patch it with .17.
3. When the IMIS icon is clicked, the program opens only a gray screen. iMIS doesn't prompt for a password and the only operational buttons are the FILE button. If I right click the program and I say "open as" another name then it will open. If I log into that computer with another name then the program works fine as well.
   • You can let a user without Admin rights to the local machine use iMIS, but you will need to give them read/write access to the iMIS directory and you will need to give iMIS users read and write access to these registry keys:
