New features in CSA Version 2
- "Clip" button can put details of your alert on the clipboard for external use.
- "Action" button can launch a website, run a report, start an email, open a document, view a network folder, run an application, (new with 2.1) run a TaskCentre task, execute a SQL script.
- Alerts can be programmed to automatically zoom, clip, run the action, or beep.
- More icons, more detail available to alert authors
- Alert rules editor to maintain your alerts without SQL
- Current iMIS user is passed as a parameter to Alert rules
- Easier installation, no more "VB runtime" errors
- Easier options for Alert rules to generate their output, but still backward compatible with all alert rules for CSA 1.1
- Automatically repairs permissions, but with better error handling just in case
- Integration with TaskCentre
Important notes
- CSA 2 requires a new license key. Existing clients, please email chadd.arthur@rsmi.com for a free update.
- CSA works with iMIS 15 in the Desktop view, but not Casual or Public view.

What does CSA do?
Customer Service Alerts for iMIS is an add-on for iMIS.
Users keep CSA open while they work. Whenever a user starts working with a person or organization
record in iMIS, CSA displays "alerts" with information about that record. Alerts are often used
to call attention to details buried deep in iMIS or easily missed.
The alerts your users see, and they order they are ranked are completely under your control. When configured
to your liking, CSA helps your organization staff to be more aware of problems and more responsive to
opportunities for outstanding customer service.

What kinds of information can CSA alert me to?
Just about anything which can be connected to the ID of the current record. This often
starts with iMIS data, but can include non-iMIS tables in your iMIS database or data in other databases
on the same server.
Customer Service Alerts includes several predefined alerts, and can
be tailored by you or your Authorized iMIS Solution Provider to increase your staff's productivity.
Set up additional alerts to show:
- Total member lifetime value
- Certification status
- Cross-sell opportunities
- Recent contracts and changes
- Missing demographic information
- Data integrity problems
- Unresolved member complaints
- Approaching deadlines
